Statement regarding LockBit claims

Earlier this morning we became aware of tweets from LockBit, the cyber-criminal gang, claiming that they had compromised Darktrace’s internal security systems and had accessed our data. Our security teams have run a full review of our internal systems and can see no evidence of compromise. None of the LockBit social media posts link to any compromised Darktrace data. We will continue to monitor the situation extremely closely, but based on our current investigations we are confident that our systems remain secure and all customer data is fully protected.

Darktrace’s founders were named ‘Team of the Year’ in recognition of their vision, strategy and the disrupting innovation behind Darktrace’s AI technology.

We are delighted to win the ‘Team of the Year’ award at the Enterprise Awards,” said Poppy Gustafsson, CEO EMEA, Darktrace. “Less than four years ago, a few of us founded Darktrace with the conviction that machine learning and AI would transform the future of cyber defense. Today, this vision has been fulfilled, as our disruptive technology detects and fights back against sophisticated cyber-threats in real time. The ‘Team of the Year’ award is testament to the fundamental innovation behind our technology and recognizes the passion, dedication and hard work of our brilliant team of 500 employees.”
