Statement regarding LockBit claims

Earlier this morning we became aware of tweets from LockBit, the cyber-criminal gang, claiming that they had compromised Darktrace’s internal security systems and had accessed our data. Our security teams have run a full review of our internal systems and can see no evidence of compromise. None of the LockBit social media posts link to any compromised Darktrace data. We will continue to monitor the situation extremely closely, but based on our current investigations we are confident that our systems remain secure and all customer data is fully protected.

Darktrace, the leader in Enterprise Immune System technology, have announced that Cyber Defense Magazine, the industry's leading electronic information security magazine and media partner of the RSA® Conference 2016, has named Darktrace’s Enterprise Immune System its Editor’s Choice Award winner in the Best Enterprise Security Solution category.

After many months of review and judged by leading independent information security experts, Cyber Defense Magazine is pleased to have selected the Enterprise Immune System as a winner for their Enterprise Security Solution category.

“We’re thrilled to recognize next-generation innovation in the information security marketplace and that’s why Darktrace has earned this award from Cyber Defense Magazine. Some of the best INFOSEC defenses come from these kinds of forward thinking players who think outside of the box,” said Pierluigi Paganini, Editor-in-Chief, Cyber Defense Magazine.

Darktrace is the first company in the world to arm defenders with proven machine learning and mathematics, developed by specialists from the University of Cambridge, that detects emerging cyber-threats, without any prior knowledge of attacks, rules or signatures. The business now has over 750 installations worldwide and has already discovered over 5,500 significant cyber incidents in customer networks.

“CDM’s recognition of the Enterprise Immune System further validates our company as an innovator in its field for enterprise security” said Nicole Eagan, CEO of Darktrace. “This industry honor is the greatest endorsement to the fact that Darktrace’s machine learning approach is ahead of the curve when it comes to the most innovative and effective solution that can provide the highest level of security.”
